Tra la fine di febbraio e l’inizio di marzo,
diverse autorità navali hanno iniziato a segnalare la presenza di una metaniera in avaria nel Mediterraneo.
La nave in questione era la Arctic Metagaz e i vari servizi di sicurezza in Europa non hanno avuto dubbi: si tratta di una delle navi appartenenti alla cosiddetta “flotta ombra” della Russia.
La conferma è arrivata anche dallo stesso governo di Mosca,
il quale il 4 marzo ha ufficialmente denunciato un raid contro la metaniera.
La nave intanto ha proseguito per almeno tre settimane la propria corsa indirizzata unicamente dal vento,
essendo rimasta senza equipaggio e con la sala macchine in avaria.
Le immagini arrivate tramite i droni hanno mostrato la presenza di incendi ed esplosioni a bordo.
Pochi dubbi quindi: la nave è stata colpita da velivoli senza pilota.
Il sospetto è andato subito su Kiev,
i cui servizi già in altre occasioni hanno messo nel mirino la flotta ombra russa.
Il fatto però che il raid sia avvenuto contro una nave che navigava vicino alle coste libiche ha fatto pensare alla presenza ucraina all’interno della Libia.
Oggi il sospetto ha preso le sembianze di una conferma.
