Torna un concetto che illustrai anni fa: la frattura tra la élite imprenditoriale e il territorio su cui si insedia, grazie alle delocalizzazioni industriali e all’investimento finanziario che sostituisce l’investimento nell’economia reale, genera la possibilità di un ritorno alle logiche coloniali ottocentesche. Alla borghesia locale delle colonie che lucrava vendendo i compatrioti alla potenza coloniale straniera. Neanche il fascismo osava fare tanto, perché la politica demografica espansiva in ottica bellicistica confliggeva con tali logiche anti-nazionalistiche, ma anche anti-nazionali, anti-patriottiche.

Oggi siamo al fascismo apolide sinistrato, all’abolizione di ogni minimo patriottismo, perché non vi siano intoppi nelle dinamiche del potere imperiale. Rimane il rapporto fascista di sudditanza dello Stato agli interessi delle multinazionali e dell’alta finanza.

Una società incartapecorita, rigida e quindi fragile, non può che rendere liquidi gli umani che ospita al suo interno, perché altrimenti qualcosa di rompe irrimediabilmente. Infatti persino le guerre oramai sono soft. Si crea la pressione bellica per spingere le risorse economiche lontano dall’Europa. E il tubo che consente quel fluire ordinato è la narrazione “#HaStatoPutin”, il momento puntiforme di finto inizio, il Big Bang di quella narrazione. Buoni e cattivi, come all’asilo.

The parents of the four youngest females captured by Hamas on October 7 have launched a public appeal to raise awareness of their plight and have published shocking photos taken shortly after their captivity to urge immediate action to secure their release.

Chen Golstein-Almog said: “They are strong and have not lost hope. But they were at their limit five weeks ago when we separated from them. They must be released. They cannot stay there for one more day.”

Now you can’t go to work or pick up the kids from school, all because of the ‘Extinction Rebellion’ group that only seems to cause inconvenience and dangerous situations

Have you heard of these activists? They prevent countless people and even ambulances from rushing to emergencies. Meanwhile, to my dismay, the police just let this chaos happen. It’s an absolute scandal.

But why do we let this happen? Why do we tolerate this? Why does it seem like our mayors and police are turning a blind eye to these protesters and ignoring their illegal actions? They have proven that they can enforce the law if they want to. Do you remember the anti-corona demonstrations? They were peaceful and did not block anyone, but they were still stopped, often by force. And now this lawlessness is allowed to continue.

Sign our petition now. Let’s demand that our mayors and police tackle these illegal roadblocks and enforce the law.

The Extinction Rebellion protests are a ticking time bomb. They endanger lives, disrupt traffic and brazenly defy the law.

The seriousness cannot be exaggerated; an ambulance got stuck during an action in Berlin, a fact that climate activists had lied about. Recently the same group claimed to have fully communicated with hospitals during an operation on the A10 so ambulances could take alternative routes, but then bragged on Twitter about how well they were doing because they pulled over when an ambulance passed by . So this proves that their “communication” was not worth much. The ambulance was only able to get through because it was before a traffic jam could form.

It’s unacceptable. What’s even worse is seeing the blatant hypocrisy. Do you remember the “block Frisians”, the demonstrators during corona, or the protesting farmers? The police did not hesitate to use force and even went so far as to shoot a minor farmer.

Yet these Extinction Rebellion protesters are never prosecuted. They keep coming back and keep hard-working Dutch people in their tracks. It’s madness.

Help us stop this. Sign our petition calling on the mayors and the police to take consistent action against these illegal protests.

There are many who share our dissatisfaction with these dangerous protests. Our petition will make this disapproval visible and impossible to ignore.

On November 28, a woman from Trieste suffering from a severe form of multiple sclerosis ended her life through assisted suicide. And guess who provided the assistance needed to do this? Our National Health Service, an absolute novelty for our country.

It seems that now in Italy it is possible to anticipate and facilitate death. There is not yet an official law that authorizes assisted suicide in our country, but our Health Service is already providing the means to put it into practice.

You see, the forces pushing for assisted suicide are gaining traction and are celebrating this as a “victory.”

But reflect with me on this point: have you ever heard anything from them about alternative options to propose when faced with the physical and psychological suffering of a seriously ill person? What is the one and only solution they propose every time we talk about an incurable disease? Anticipate and facilitate death!

It is the same dynamic that we see happening with abortion: if a woman has doubts about her pregnancy, if she hesitates and thinks she cannot manage to keep her baby, what associations, politicians, doctors and other “progressives” offer “? Abortion, always and only abortion.

They are never interested in alternatives, only in advancing their agenda. They say they care about the patient’s suffering, but what kind of help do they want to give? Where is the respect for life, for dignity, for the individual?

The most widespread narrative in Italy is always the same, and it is clear: death as the only option. But we refuse to accept it. We believe in the value of life, in its dignity and its value at all times, even in the face of suffering.

And precisely for this reason we think that an alternative to assisted suicide exists and is particularly valid: palliative care.

Uno scandalaccio travolge l’accusa (falsa) a Trump

Il procuratore distrettuale della contea di Fulton, Fani Willis, ha assunto il suo amante segreto per fungere da procuratore speciale nel caso di racket in Georgia contro Donald Trump e altri 18 imputati,  secondo un documento depositato lunedì per conto di Mike Roman, un imputato che ha guidato le operazioni del giorno delle elezioni per Trump 2020. campagna:

“[L]l procuratore distrettuale e il procuratore speciale sono stati impegnati in un rapporto personale improprio e clandestino durante la pendenza di questo caso , che ha portato il procuratore speciale e, a sua volta, il procuratore distrettuale, a trarre notevoli profitti da questo procedimento giudiziario a scapito dei contribuenti”.

Il pubblico ministero è Nathan Wade, un avvocato privato nel bel mezzo di un divorzio che “ha poca o nessuna esperienza in casi di reati, molto meno in azioni RICO complesse”, secondo il documento di 127 pagine che cerca di far cadere le accuse contro Roman e sia Willis che Wade sono stati squalificati da un’ulteriore partecipazione al caso.

Secondo la denuncia, Wade ha incassato almeno 653.000 dollari e oltre 1 milione di dollari per aver gestito un caso di alto profilo. In virtù della loro relazione, quel mucchio di soldi dei contribuenti avvantaggia Willis, poiché hanno viaggiato insieme in Florida, nei Caraibi e nella Napa Valley, in California, aggiungendo che Wade ha anche acquistato i biglietti per la coppia per viaggiare sulle navi da crociera Norwegian e Royal Caribbean. .

Oltre alla tariffa oraria di 250 dollari,  Wade ha anche fatturato alla contea di Fulton migliaia di dollari in viaggi aerei e soggiorni in hotel , secondo le fatture allegate alla documentazione. Li ha classificati come viaggi di intervista e di ricerca.

La dichiarazione di Trump sostiene inoltre che Willis ha stipulato un contratto con  Wade senza la dovuta approvazione , poiché tale mossa richiede un voto da parte del consiglio dei commissari della contea di Fulton. L’avvocato di Roman, Ashleigh Merchant , dice al Wall Street Journal che la sua ricerca nei verbali delle riunioni del consiglio non ha trovato alcuna indicazione che la sua nomina sia mai stata discussa, tanto meno votata.

Il tempismo della transazione è notevole: Wade ha chiesto il divorzio proprio il giorno dopo l’inizio del suo primo contratto con Willis. Il divorzio è ancora in sospeso e Wade è riuscito a sigillare il procedimento, per ora. Il commerciante chiede che vengano aperti.

Il documento di lunedì riassume bene le ombre delle trattative:

Il giorno prima che Wade chiedesse il divorzio, [Willis] ha stipulato un accordo per pagare Wade molto al di sopra di quanto veniva pagato qualsiasi altro pubblico ministero nel suo ufficio, e ha nascosto questo accordo alla contea di Fulton, nonostante Wade fosse la spesa più grande nel suo ufficio. ufficio per gli appaltatori di servizi professionali sia per il 2022 che per il 2023.

Wade viene pagata centinaia di migliaia di dollari per portare avanti questo caso per suo conto. A sua volta, Wade sta assumendo Willis e pagando le vacanze in tutto il mondo con i soldi che viene pagato dai contribuenti della contea di Fulton e autorizzato esclusivamente da Willis.

“È una brutta impressione ed è potenzialmente criminale, ancora una volta, supponendo che tutto sia vero”, dice al Journal l’ex procuratore della Georgia Chris Timmons . Tuttavia, anche se l’acquisizione da parte di Willis dei servizi di Wade potrebbe essere stata illegale, Timmons dubita che ciò possa influenzare l’accusa.

Willis deve ancora commentare le accuse, e un portavoce dice che una risposta arriverà “tramite un deposito presso la corte”. Il documento contiene molta documentazione sulle assunzioni e sulla fatturazione di Wade, ma nessuna prova della relazione romantica, oltre a citare “fonti vicine” alla coppia.

Quattro imputati si sono dichiarati colpevoli nel caso della contea di Fulton che sostiene una cospirazione per interferire con le elezioni presidenziali del 2020. Roman deve affrontare sette accuse, tra cui associazione a delinquere finalizzata a commettere falsificazione di documenti, associazione a delinquere finalizzata alla presentazione di documenti falsi e racket.

Il rapporto tra il microbiologo battezzato “padre dei tamponi” e il governatore Luca Zaia si è deteriorato in modo irreparabile e ora la questione non è più né sanitaria, né politica, bensì è giudiziaria.
“Se la denuncia si riferisce alla libertà del professor Crisanti di discutere pubblicamente le sue osservazioni – è scritto nella lettera – riteniamo che la stessa possa costituire un pericoloso precedente avverso alla libertà della ricerca scientifica e offriamo a Crisanti il nostro sostegno”.In realtà la questione è molto più articolata.
Il professor Crisanti e il governatore Zaia avevano iniziato con una proficua collaborazione all’inizio della pandemia, subito dopo il primo morto di Coronavirus in Italia nel piccolo Comune di Vo’ Euganeo.
Si sceglie infatti di sottoporre a tampone tutti gli abitanti del paese, con una mappatura del virus che non aveva precedenti nella letteratura scientifica.
Tuttavia, l’idillio è durato poco e tra i due il rapporto si è interrotto per le visioni differenti sul percorso da intraprendere.
In particolare, è sui tamponi rapidi che avviene lo scontro più duro.
Lo scienziato sostiene che diano un numero rilevante di falsi positivi e li addita come una delle cause dell’impennata della seconda ondata di virus.
Zaia invece crede nella loro validità come strumento di tracciamento dei contagi e li pratica in parallelo ai molecolari, utilizzandoli anche per il personale della sanità, cosa che invece Crisanti aveva più volte sconsigliato.
Questa strategia di Zaia è stata duramente contestata anche dal Covesp, il coordinamento di comitati delle 7 province del Veneto, i primi a inserire in un esposto indirizzato alle Procure tutti i dubbi sulle scelte del governatore.
L’esposto di Azienda zero contro Crisanti giunge in un secondo momento.”Non conosciamo i termini esatti della denuncia – spiegano i 40 scienziati, alcuni componenti del “gruppo 2023″ per le ricerca scientifica – ma, da quanto apprendiamo al centro della questione ci sarebbero le anticipazioni dei risultati e delle conclusioni di uno studio del professor Crisanti e dei suoi collaboratori sull’efficacia dei tamponi rapidi, reso disponibile in pre-print”.
Uno studio nel quale il microbiologo dell’Università di Padova evidenzia come i test antigenici eseguiti su prelievi raccolti in Veneto tra settembre e ottobre 2020 avessero un’elevata percentuale (circa 30%) di falsi negativi.
“La tesi di Crisanti rientra nella normale prassi scientifica della formulazione di una ipotesi di lavoro e in quanto tale verificabile, o smentibile, attraverso ulteriori studi”.
Il professore, in un sussulto d’orgoglio, ha tirato in ballo anche Galileo Galilei per definire la sua situazione di “scienziato sotto processo”.
Tra i firmatari della lettera ci sono Silvio Garattini, Giuseppe Mingione, Gabriele Ghisellini, Antonella Muraro, Gaetano Di Chiara, Ugo Montanari.

A Note from the Founder

Lorenzo—We were heartbroken yesterday to read reports in the media of the tragic death of 5-year-old Pippa Knight, whose life support was removed by a UK hospital following the heartless order of a judge, issued in spite of her mother’s wishes. We are mourning this sad tragedy, but ever more determined to fight moving forward so that no other family has to endure this kind of horrible treatment. We join our Editor-in-Chief, Marco Respinti, in the sentiment he expresses in today’s editorial: We will not back down.



I’ll be sharing more about our plans for fighting for families’ rights in these kinds of healthcare decisions in the coming days and weeks. In the meantime, please join me and the whole IOF and iFamNews team in praying for Pippa’s family and friends.
