dott. Ioan Sauca, segretario generale ad interim del WOC, ha aggiunto:
“Hagia Sophia è stata un luogo di apertura, meraviglia e ispirazione per
le persone di tutte le nazioni”.

Secondo
una trascrizione sul sito web ufficiale del presidente turco, Erdogan
ha collegato Hagia Sophia diventando di nuovo una moschea alla
“liberazione della moschea di Al-Aqsa” in un discorso di venerdì.
