E questo sarebbe già sufficiente per classificarlo. Ma la Corte d\’Appello di Roma, nella motivazione della sentenza emessa il 1\” luglio 1978, a conclusione del processo per diffamazione della memoria del Papa Pio XII, in relazione all\’eccidio delle « Fosse Ardeatine », e riformando totalmente la precedente decisione della quarta sezione penale del Tribunale, perché avevano ritenuto infondata la querela presentata cinque anni prima dalla signora Elena Rossi Semplice sotto sotto, ci fu un duplice fine, manovrato ad arte dai comunisti. E questi hanno dimostrato che Pio XII non sapeva nulla della strage di via Rasella. I « fatti », invece — « documenti » alla mano! dimostrano – e chiaramente! — che solo i comunisti sono i veri ed unici autori dell\’attentato di via Rasella. Il « processo-verità » di Dario Pagani, Roy Cooper e Armo Kunz 3, dimostra chiaramente che furono solo dei componenti dei GAP 39 di Salinari e Calamandrei gli esecutori materiali dell\’attentato. E Calamandrei e Blasi Guglielmo (un altro appartenente al GAP di Carlo Salinari), la mattina del 19 marzo, a questi che lo consigliava di non fare l\’attentato, perché sarebbero stati colpiti, poi, degli innocenti (aveva appena letto su di un manifesto, affisso in Roma, dove si avvertiva che i tedeschi avrebbero fatto rappresaglia nella misura di dieci italiani per ogni tedesco ucciso!), Calamandrei gli rispose che ne avrebbero parlato l\’indomani. E la mattina appresso, Calamandrei gli disse che c\’era l\’ordine di fare l\’attentato. Ma da chi veniva quell\’ordine? E perfino degli stessi documenti che ha avuto per mano, egli ne ha fatto una cernita discriminante, senza neppure specificare quale criterio ha egli usato nel ritenere alcuni e ometterne altri.
