I’m not
convinced he was visited by the true Messiah. Here is Jesus’ own words in
John 5:43, “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me
not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will
receive.”
We know that there is
at least 7 years before Christ returns because the time of Jacob’s trouble
(Tribulation) has not yet even started. So if someone is going to
present himself as the Messiah of the Jews he is either the actual antichrist,
or an antichrist impostor.
However, if this is the unveiling of
the antichrist it is good news for Jesus believing Christians because it means
that the long awaited and mocked harpazo (Rapture) is
close. In fact, it must occur prior to the Antichrist being revealed,
wihch means we could be out of here any
moment.
