The cause of the problem is NOT the land. After the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, several Arab nations were created by fiat. The Arab world accepted this without any problem, as these were Muslim-majority countries. Rejecting the state of Israel was related to the fact that it is a Jewish rather than a Muslim country.
In this manner, despite the clear discrimination against non-Muslim minorities in most of the Arab and Muslim world (denying equal rights in church construction, for example), many in the Arab world point the finger only at Israel when they talk about discrimination.
The European Union is currently funding a study into Palestinians textbooks, brought about by the findings of the non-governmental organization IMPACT-se, which found in May that “the new Palestinian school [material] for the 2018–19 academic year… was ‘more radical than those previously published.'” … Meanwhile, no one is being educated for peace.
When we add onto all that the sad reality that Palestinian politicians are using the conflict to get billions of dollars in donations, we can understand why this conflict has so far not been solved.
The rejection of the 1947 UN Partition Plan by the Arab nations, and their declaration of war against Israel rather than their acceptance of peace, was the first clear indication that the Arabs’ desire was never to provide a state for the Palestinian people, but rather has been from the beginning to erase Israel from the map. We must salute Jared Kushner’s attempt to bring a peaceful solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict. That said, the Palestinians’ unsurprising rejection of the peace offer requires some scrutiny, especially the true causes of the perennial failure to achieve lasting peace.
Without understanding them, every attempt to solve this conflict, every attempt to make true peace in the Middle East, will always fail.

In May, Abu Henricki, a Canadian citizen of Trinidadian origin, told researchers with the International Center for the Study of Violent Extremism that ISIS sought to recruit him and others to penetrate the US-Mexican border through routes originating in various Central American locations…. Other Trinidadians, he said, were also being approached to “do the same thing.”
The idea that Islamic terror groups are operating in Mexico and eyeing—and exploiting—the porous US-Mexico border is not a hypothetical; unfortunately, it appears to be a fact. At least 15—though likely many more—suspected terrorists have already been apprehended crossing the border since 2001. One suspected terrorist who crossed the border, an ISIS supporter, already launched a terrorist attack in Canada that nearly killed five people.
The only question left is how much more evidence, and how many more attacks—and with what greater severity—are needed before this problem is addressed?

A captured Islamic State fighter recently related how, in an effort to terrorize America on its own soil, the Islamic terror group is committed to exploiting the porous US-Mexico border, including through the aid of ISIS-sympathizers living in the United States.
“Whatever one thinks of President Donald Trump’s heightened rhetoric about the US-Mexico border and his many claims that it is vulnerable to terrorists, ISIS apparently also thought so,” according to the Government Technology and Services Coalition.
In May, Abu Henricki, a Canadian citizen of Trinidadian origin, told researchers with the International Center for the Study of Violent Extremism that ISIS sought to recruit him and others to penetrate the US-Mexican border through routes originating in various Central American locations.

“Turkey is fully committed to the objective of EU membership… The finalization of the Visa Liberalization Dialogue process which will allow our citizens to travel to the Schengen area without a visa, is our first priority.” — Statement released by the Turkish Foreign Ministry, May 9, 2019.
“This doesn’t mean that I have anything against the Turks…. But if we begin to explain it — that Turkey is in Europe — European school students will have to be told that the European border lies in Syria. Where’s common sense? … Can Turkey be regarded a European country culturally, historically, and economically speaking? If we say that, we want the European Union’s death.” — Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
If the EU approves the visa waiver, tens of millions of Turks will gain immediate and unimpeded access to Europe’s passport-free zone. Critics of visa liberalization fear that millions of Turkish nationals may end up migrating to Europe. The Austrian newsmagazine, Wochenblick, reported that 11 million Turks are living in poverty and “many of them are dreaming of moving to central Europe.”
Turkey has threatened to re-open the floodgates of mass migration to Europe unless Turkish nationals are granted visa-free travel to the European Union. Turkey currently hosts an estimated 3.5 million migrants and refugees — mainly Syrians, Iraqis and Afghans. Many of these people presumably would migrate to Europe if given the opportunity to do so. Moreover, EU foreign ministers on July 15 decided to halt high-level talks with Ankara as part of sanctions over Turkish oil and gas drilling off the coast of Cyprus.

The UN’s Deadly Silence on Iran’s Maritime Violations

Tehran is clearly violating international law, specifically the internationally-agreed UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS)…. The theocratic establishment of Iran is a signatory to this UN convention but has long refrained from ratifying it.
Wherever silence prevails, rogue states thrive. In the instance of Iran, the silence of the international community has been earsplitting. Moreover, any destructive behavior left unchecked is being passively reinforced; if the international community continues its silence while their unruly pet violates UN resolutions and maritime laws, they can only expect such violations to become the norm.
The UN needs to hold the Iranian leaders accountable and take appropriate measures against Iran’s aggression in the Gulf. If the UN fails to do this, other nations would be stupid not to take the cue deliberately to disobey existing international laws — possibly leading to a major war.

In recent times, nothing has exemplified the double standards of the international community more than its laid-back response to the illicit activities and recklessness of Iran in international waterways during the last few months.
Bizarrely, the international community and its ever-so-willing apologists cronies in the mainstream media seem more interested in chasing shadows with their constant criticism of Israel, while slyly ignoring the main culprit, Iran, which continues to jeopardize safety, peace and security in the region and worldwide.
In May 2019, for instance, four tankers were attacked close to the port of Fujairah off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, in what was a violation of their territorial space. Within a month, on the June 13, two ships – the Japanese Kokuka Courageous and the Norwegian Front Altair — crossing the Gulf of Oman were sabotaged with explosives. One went up in flames; the other was left to be towed away.

The UN needs to hold the Iranian leaders accountable and take appropriate measures against Iran’s aggression in the Gulf. If the UN fails to do this, other nations would be stupid not to take the cue deliberately to disobey existing international laws — possibly leading to a major war.

In recent times, nothing has exemplified the double standards of the international community more than its laid-back response to the illicit activities and recklessness of Iran in international waterways during the last few months.
Bizarrely, the international community and its ever-so-willing apologists cronies in the mainstream media seem more interested in chasing shadows with their constant criticism of Israel, while slyly ignoring the main culprit, Iran, which continues to jeopardize safety, peace and security in the region and worldwide.
In May 2019, for instance, four tankers were attacked close to the port of Fujairah off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, in what was a violation of their territorial space. Within a month, on the June 13, two ships – the Japanese Kokuka Courageous and the Norwegian Front Altair — crossing the Gulf of Oman were sabotaged with explosives. One went up in flames; the other was left to be towed away.

“Siamo di fronte alla più grande ondata migratoria nella storia. Se apriamo le porte, nessun governo europeo sarà in grado di sopravvivere per più di sei mesi. Noi li consigliamo di non provare la nostra pazienza.” – Il ministro dell’Interno turco Süleyman Soylu.
“La Turchia è pienamente impegnata per l’obiettivo dell’adesione all’UE … Il completamento del processo di liberalizzazione dei visti dialogo che consentirà ai nostri cittadini di recarsi nello spazio Schengen senza visto, è la nostra priorità.” – Dichiarazione rilasciata dal Ministero degli Esteri turco, 9 Maggio 2019.
“Questo non significa che io abbia qualcosa contro i turchi …. Ma se cominciamo a spiegarlo – che la Turchia è in Europa -. Gli studenti delle scuole europee dovranno essere detto che la frontiera europea si trova in Siria, dove il senso comune ? … la Turchia può essere considerata un paese europeo culturalmente, storicamente ed economicamente parlando? Se diciamo che vogliamo la morte dell’Unione europea “. – L’ex presidente francese Nicolas Sarkozy.
Se l’Unione europea approva l’esenzione dal visto, decine di milioni di turchi avranno accesso immediato e senza ostacoli alla zona senza passaporto europeo. I critici della liberalizzazione dei visti temono che milioni di cittadini turchi possono finire per la migrazione verso l’Europa. Il newsmagazine austriaca, Wochenblick, ha riferito che 11 milioni di turchi vivono in condizioni di povertà e “molti di loro sognano di muoversi verso l’Europa centrale.”
La Turchia ha minacciato di riaprire le porte della migrazione di massa verso l’Europa a meno che i cittadini turchi vengono concesse l’esenzione dal visto per l’Unione europea. L’UE ha accettato di liberalizzazione dei visti in un marzo 2016 tra UE e Turchia affare migrante in cui Ankara si è impegnato per arginare il flusso di migranti verso l’Europa.

Teheran sta chiaramente violando il diritto internazionale, in particolare la Convenzione delle Nazioni Unite concordato a livello internazionale sul diritto del mare (UNCLOS) …. L’istituzione teocratico dell’Iran è firmataria questa convenzione delle Nazioni Unite, ma ha a lungo evitato di ratifica.
Ovunque il silenzio prevale, stati canaglia prosperano. Nel caso dell’Iran, il silenzio della comunità internazionale è stato assordante. Inoltre, qualsiasi comportamento distruttivo non controllate viene passivamente rinforzata; se la comunità internazionale continua il suo silenzio, mentre il loro animale domestico indisciplinato viola risoluzioni delle Nazioni Unite e le leggi marittime, possono aspettarsi solo tali violazioni a diventare la norma.
L’ONU ha bisogno di tenere i leader iraniani responsabili e prendere le misure appropriate contro l’aggressione dell’Iran nel Golfo. Se le Nazioni Unite non riesce a fare questo, le altre nazioni sarebbe stupido non prendere lo spunto deliberatamente di disobbedire alle leggi internazionali esistenti – che possano portare ad una grande guerra.
Il 13 giugno 2019, il segretario di Stato Mike Pompeo accusato l’Iran per l’attacco a due petroliere nel Golfo di Oman, dicendo: “Questa valutazione si basa sull’intelligenza, le armi usate, il livello di competenza necessaria per eseguire l’operazione , recenti attacchi simili iraniani su trasporto e il fatto che nessun gruppo di proxy che operano nella zona ha le risorse e la competenza ad agire con un alto grado di sofisticazione “. In tempi recenti, nulla è esemplificato la doppia morale della comunità internazionale più che la sua risposta laid-back alle attività illecite e sregolatezza dell’Iran in corsi d’acqua internazionali nel corso degli ultimi mesi.
Stranamente, la comunità internazionale e suoi apologeti sempre così disposti compari nei media mainstream sembrano più interessati a caccia di ombre con la loro costante critica a Israele, mentre sornione ignorando il principale colpevole, l’Iran, che continua a mettere in pericolo la sicurezza, la pace e la sicurezza in la regione e in tutto il mondo.
Nel mese di maggio 2019, per esempio, quattro navi cisterna sono stati attaccati nei pressi del porto di Fujairah al largo della costa degli Emirati Arabi Uniti, in quello che era una violazione del loro spazio territoriale. Nel giro di un mese, il 13 giugno, due navi – la giapponese Kokuka coraggioso e il norvegese Fronte Altair – attraversando il Golfo di Oman sono stati sabotati con esplosivi. Uno è andato in fiamme; l’altro è stato lasciato per essere rimossa.

VERIFICA LA NOTIZIANella Chiesa di Bergoglio monta la protesta contro il sincretismo islamofilo. Uno degli attacchi più duri contro il servilismo dell’attuale Papa verso l’islam venne dopo il brutale omicidio di Padre Hamel nel 2016, che viene ricordato proprio in questi giorni.
“Tu mi ammazzi un parroco e poi ti inviti la settimana dopo nella mia Chiesa a pregare la tua religione. Anche le altre chiese del mondo oggi saranno invase da musulmani senza che nessuno li abbia invitati”.
Iniziava così la lettera di protesta di un prete cattolico contro la pagliacciata degli islamici nelle chiese, dopo che due immigrati islamici di seconda generazione avevano sgozzato padre Jacques Hamel nella chiesa di Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray. Che definiva come “l’ennesimo atto di prepotenza dell’islam”.
“Se c’è proprio una cosa che noi temiamo è vederci arrivare i ‘turchi’ in chiesa”, scriveva il prete che ha chiesto alla redazione di garantirgli l’anonimato per evitare l’esposizione mediatica. “Se lo avessi fatto io, non in Egitto, ma qui a Milano, di presentarmi in una moschea dicendo che mi sono autoinvitato a pregare, mi avrebbero lasciato alla porta – continuava – e se avessi insistito sarebbe scoppiata la rissa col coltello”.

“Certo – continuava il prete – tutti pregheranno oggi: i cristiani di non trovarsi qualche terrorista vicino. (Non esisterà, tra l’altro, alcun sistema di controllo e sicurezza, se non quelli di default nelle chiese più grandi)”. E ancora: “Certo, tutti oggi ringrazieranno Dio: i cristiani di poter essere usciti vivi e incolumi dalla propria chiesa. Nessun vescovo farà sentire la sua voce dicendo che la cosa andava almeno concordata insieme”. Quindi, conclude la lettera condannando apertamente l’islam e definendolo “prepotente e invasore, anche quando vuole farsi apprezzare come misericordioso e gentile”. “Se ci entrano in chiesa quando vogliono fare la pace – tuona – pensa che cosa possono fare quando sono leggermente alterati eh, lo sappiamo cosa, tra l’altro”.
Ormai esistono due Chiese. Una prostrata all’invasione afroislamica, quasi eccitata da questa eventualità che sente a livello pre-sessuale. L’altra che resiste.
Come quella rappresentata dal vescovo siriaco ortodosso libanese George Saliba, che ha definito i musulmani “nemici di Cristo”, riferendosi alle atrocità compiute in Iraq dai seguaci del “Califfo” Abu-Bakr al Baghdadi (in foto) nei confronti della minoranza cristiana.
“Quello che accade in Iraq è molto brutto, ma è normale per i musulmani, perché non hanno mai trattato bene i cristiani, nei cui confronti hanno sempre avuto un atteggiamento offensivo e diffamatorio“.
“Noi non chiamiamo alle armi e alla guerra, non ne siamo capaci. Eravamo abituati a vivere e coesistere con i musulmani, ma poi loro hanno cominciato a mostrarci i denti”.
“Sono nemici di Cristo – ha aggiunto Saliba – e non sono diversi dagli ebrei, in termini di minaccia ai cristiani. Non hanno il diritto – ha detto con riferimento ai fatti iracheni- di prendere d’assalto le case, rubare, attaccare l’onore dei cristiani. Molti musulmani lo fanno, gli Ottomani lo facevano e poi gli stati nazionali hanno capito le nuove circostanze, ma hanno continuato a dare vantaggio ai musulmani. L’Islam non è mai cambiato e i musulmani sono stati educati a trattare male i cristiani“.
“Non siamo sorpresi da questi comportamenti, ma speriamo in quei fratelli musulmani che non li appoggiano, sebbene siano una minoranza“.
Queste riflessioni mettono in evidenza la distanza abissale tra chi vive la società multietnica e multireligiosa, e quindi ne conosce gli orrori, e chi invece è abituato a descriverla in base alla propria immaginazione oppure in armonia con l’ideologia del momento per paura di apparire politicamente scorretto.

Non sarebbe la prima volta che la chiesa si divide ideologicamente nella notte dei tempi, tuttavia la riflessione che mi viene alla mente dopo aver letto tutte le baggianate delle fazioni è che entrambe sono fondate sul nulla. Il vecchio t. una favola come il tomo dantesco si ma almeno era en scritto e in quello erano citati personaggi esistiti veramente. Il nuovo t. la storia basata tutta su una ragazza di facili costumi che una volta rimasta incinta ha dovuto dare la colpa a qualcuno che non fosse carcerabile. A mio modesto avviso il mondo è già abbastanta singolare e sorprendente senza doversi inventare fandonie e se proprio ti prudono le mani puoi far guerra ad altri per prìncipi fondati, quali il petrolio, i diamanti oro

Però Gesù nel romanzo fa una bella figura, specie quando cinghia i mercanti nel tempio. Le favole hanno sempre una morale costruttiva, specie quelle che hanno attecchito. Basta saperla cogliere. Una delle mie ex aveva fatto una tesi-pippone sulla semantica e le metafore delle favole, sono ferratissimo.

Psicologicamente, quando sin da piccolo, ti hanno inculcato che sei figlio di un grande, una lieve ipertrofia dell’io ti viene. Comunque forse esiste un karma perché lei ha pagato le sue menzogn e si sa che quello che una donna paventa è proprio perdere la propria creatura. Insomma materiale da disquisire c’è n’è volendo.

Vado un attimo fuori tema rispetto al thread proposto.
Bin Laden ed il figlio ucciso (dicono) in questi giorni, avevano gli occhi di due persone per bene. Ora penserete che sono pazza ma gli assassini li vedo tutti i giorni intorno a me, quei due no guardando i loro occhi notavo solo un’immensa tristezza. Mi chiedo se fossero fondate le accuse e allora perché il leader nord coreano che uccide barbaramente se trova che la cravatta non si addice all’abito di chi la porta.è autorizzato? Licenza di uccidere come 007. Ma già dimenticavo lui il petrolio non lo possiede.

Credo che le notizie su Ciccio Kim siano grandemente alterate ed esagerate per farlo apparire per ciò che non è. Non credo che dia gli zii in pasto ai cani per caso. Bin Laden è suo malgrado uno dei motivi della mia “curiosità”: ai tempi mi ero chiesto se fosse l’eroe o il cattivo e fondamentalmente l’indagine non si è ancora chiusa ora: sono persino arrivato a sospettare che Bin Laden fosse esistito ma fosse già morto o comunque non protagonista nel 2001. Serve sempre un “Emmanuel Goldstein” per scaricare i due minuti di odio giornalieri con tutte le scuse che ne conseguono per spostare dei carrarmati. Ma come sempre, alla fine, chi lo sa? Scommetterei un euro su Dick Cheney ma io di sicuro non gli chiedo nulla.
