[ “Miracle” Prevents Massacre in Beit Shemesh [ Arutz Sheva spoke to eyewitnesses in Beit Shemesh on Thursday in the wake of a stabbing attack outside of a synagogue in the city about 30 km (20 miles) west of Jerusalem. One young haredi man was lightly-to-moderately wounded in the attack; both terrorists were neutralized. Beit Shemesh resident Ariel Bar’or recounted hearing from a neighbor about two suspicious-looking Arabs standing near a bus station as he made his way outside to bring his daughters their lunches. The Arabs stood at the station as two different buses passed but didn’t enter Bar’or noted. At one point most of the bystanders entered the #19 bus leaving the station empty except for the two terrorists. According to Bar’or many residents had called police about the two suspicious Arabs and were concerned they had not yet arrived. After awhile the Arabs started walking toward a packed synagogue; Bar’or followed behind them. They slowed down near the synagogue and approached another bus station. Bar’or saw cops coming from afar and as he began to alert them the terrorists started to stab the person nearest to them. The police exited the car as the terrorists started to flee. One terrorist was hit; the other turned around with his knife in the air and was also shot. “It’s a big miracle thank God they didn’t do anything and only started [the attack] when the police came. Gazprom ha confermato la sua rinuncia definitiva al progetto South Stream. L’Europa sta contando le perdite l’UE a Bruxelles sta cercando di capire che cosa fare in questa nuova situazione.
La chiusura del progetto South Stream è stata annunciata da Vladimir Putin durante la sua visita in Turchia. Secondo il presidente russo la realizzazione del progetto è diventata impossibile a causa della posizione non costruttiva da parte dell’Unione Europea. Nel contempo Putin ha comunicato che per le vendite alla Turchia la Russia costruirà un altro gasdotto che non sarà soggetto alle limitazioni del cosiddetto Terzo Pacchetto Energia che veniva imposto dall’Europa come condizione indispendabile della cooperazione con Gazprom. Secondo il CEO di Gazprom Aleksej Miller:
La decisione è dovuta al fatto che nelle condizioni in cui il progetto veniva francamente bloccato la sua realizzazione era diventata di fatto impossibile. Si tratta di una politica intenzionata da parte dell’UE. Il 17 aprile 2014 il Parlamento europeo ha votato una risoluzione che metteva al bando il South Stream. In giugno la Commissione europea ha inviato alla Bulgaria una lettera che può essere interpretata come una minaccia di punire il paese se continua a cooperare con la Russia. In realtà South Stream è fermo da 6 mesi. Accusarne la Russia è come fare a scaricabarile.
Il 9 dicembre si terrà un incontro tra i rappresentanti della Commissione europea e i ministri dell’Energia dei paesi che partecipano al progetto South Stream. All’incontro saranno presenti Bulgaria Ungheria Slovenia Austria Croazia Italia Grecia e Romania. Gli europei che stanno vivendo un momento di perplessità cercano di capire che cosa fare in questa nuova situazione. I paesi dell’Est accusano Bruxelles di inransigenza. Tuttavia la Bulgaria stessa ha indugiato troppo. Probabilmente l’ha fatto pensando alla Commissione europea ma ora dovrà comunque rassegnarsi alle perdite causate dalla rottura del contratto sottolinea Aleksej Miller.
Quanto alla Bulgaria la chiusura di South Stream crea per essa una situazione abbastanza difficile. L’economia bulgara perde più di 3 miliardi di euro che altrimenti sarebbero stati investiti. Perde anche più di 6 mila posti di lavoro. E perde il transito di gas. In questo momento attraverso la Bulgaria transitano 18 miliardi di metri cubi destinati a Turchia Macedonia e Grecia ma dopo la cosltruzione del nuovo gasdotto sottomarino tutti questi flussi aggireranno la Bulgaria.
Certo anche la Russia perde parecchio ma i suoi sforzi non sarano sprecati. Pur avendo perso del tempo e del denaro acquisisce un’esperienza importante. Ormai dice Aleksej Miller Mosca conosce bene la burocrazia europea.
La chiusura di South Stream è l’inizio della fine del modello che vedeva Gazprom come parte che consegnava il gas ai consumatori finali in Europa. Un matrimonio forzato funziona poco chi non vuole che la merce sia resa a domicilio dovrà andare a fare la spesa. D’inverno però non è facile farlo. Certo ci si può avvalere del Terzo Pacchetto Energia l’importante che questo pacchetto non sia vuoto.
Secondo gli esperti per l’Europa la chiusura di South Stream è gravida di parecchi rischi mentre Ankara adesso avrà possibilità più ampie per premere su Bruxelles. Sempre secondo Aleksej Miller:
L’UE ha semplicemente regalato alla Turchia il rubinetto del gas. Adesso la Turchia sarà un importante paese di transito annualmente assicurerà il trasporto di oltre 50 miliardi di metri cubi di gas russo. Ciò conribuisce ad accrescere il peso geopolitico del paese nella regione. In sostanza la Turchia sta diventando un centro di distribuzione come la Germania nel Nord dell’Europa e come era stata l’Ucraina nel centro del continente.
Avendo costretto la Russia a rinunciare al progetto South Stream l’UE ha creato per se un problema. Il progetto apriva grandi prospettive che permettevano di garantire la regolarità delle forniture aumentare le entrate generate dal transito del gas e creare dei nuovi posti di lavoro. Con la sua chiusura perdono tutti.

“Le truppe della NATO sono destinate all’offensiva”. “Penso che le truppe della NATO siano destinate per l’azione di offensiva non credo che siano legate a una o altra forma di difesa del territorio perché la Russia non ha mostrato alcun segno di preparativi per l’invasione” ha detto all’agenzia di stampa Sputnik il professore emerito di Sociologia dell’Università di Binghamton University di New York James Petras.
Secondo Petras lo schieramento delle forze della NATO in Europa è “un’escalation del militarismo occidentale” e porta “una doppia minaccia per la pace”. “E’ un tentativo di rafforzare il senso di minaccia da parte di Mosca anche se essa non esiste” ha detto il professore.

La Russia preoccupata dalla mancata promessa di Kiev di non bombardare le città
La richiesta di Kiev di disarmare i separatisti crea problemi nel trovare una soluzione pacifica per la crisi del sud-est dell’Ucraina ha dichiarato oggi il ministro degli Esteri russo Sergej Lavrov dopo i colloqui a Sofia con il suo omologo bulgaro Kristian Vigenin.
Secondo il ministro russo rinviare il cessate il fuoco per qualsiasi pretesto non è possibile perché ulteriori rinvii di una nuova tregua provocano nuove vittime.
La Russia ha sottolineato Lavrov è preoccupata dal fatto che nonostante le promesse di Kiev di non bombardare i centri abitati nelle zone di guerra la gente continua a morire aumenta il flusso di rifugiati e si aggrava la distruzione delle infrastrutture.
