        37. The first to produce a well ordered work on Jewish Law was

 Maimonides, styled the ” Eagle of the Synagogue. “In 1180 he produced

his celebrated Mischnah Torah – Repetition of the Law, Cham also Iad

It contains four parts or volumes up and 14 books, which include

everything the Talmud. In this work, Maimonides also included, many

        37. Il primo  a   produrre un lavoro ben ordinato sulla Legge

Ebraica fu Maimonide, chiamato l'”Aquila della Sinagoga. ” Nel 1180,

una croce    che, è portata attorno al collo come ricordo o come

Alcuni dicono    che, con questo nome,  non si indicano persone di altre razze, ma, solo persone incolte e rozze. Esistono comunque dei passi, che non lasciano nessun dubbio sulla questione. Inoltre, in questa faccenda di attribuire un nome a coloro, che non sono ebrei, si deve notare in particolare, che, negli scritti ebraici, questi nomi vengono usati indiscriminatamente e indifferentemente con lo stesso significato. Per esempio, nel trattatello Abhodah Zarah (25b) viene usata la parola Goi, ma, nello Schulchan Arukh (Iore Dea 153,2) viene usato il termine Akum (cristiano). Kerithuth(6b) usa Goim; Jebhammoth(61a) usa Akum (cristiano), Abhodah Zarah (2a) usa Obhde Elilim Toseph usa Goim  e Obhde Ab, Choshen Hammischpat (edizione veneziana) usa Kuthi; (Slav, ed. ) Akum (cristiano).

So in Schabbath (116a) reads “Rabbi Meir calls the books of the Minim Aven Gilaion (volumes unfair) because they call them Gospels.” 5. Edom – Edomites. Rabbi Aben Ezra, when he speaks of the Emperor Constantine, who changed his religion and put on his banner image one, that was hung, he adds “Rome therefore is called the Kingdom of the Edomites.” And Bechai the rabbi, in his Kad Hakkemach (fol. 20a, on Isaiah, ch. LXVI, 17) writes “They are called Edomites who, who, moving their fingers” here and here “(those who make the Sign of the Cross).

On this point, the author of Nizzachon is expressed as follows “A written law of the Christians is If a jew strikes you on one cheek, offer also the other and not in any way to return the blow. And cap.VI, V.27 says Love your enemies, do good to those who, hate you. Bless those who, curse you and pray for your slanderers. If one strikes you on cheek, and thou turn to him also the other and if one takes your cloak, and thou not stop take also the tunic, etc.. The same is found in Matthew cap.Vv39. But I do not I have never seen any Christian to obey to this law, and even Jesus himself has never behaved as he taught others.

E il cap.VI,v.27 dice Amate i vostri nemici; fate del bene a coloro, che, vi odiano. Benedite coloro, che, vi maledicono e pregate per i vostri calunniatori. Se uno ti percuote su una guancia, e tu porgigli anche, l’altra e se uno ti toglie il mantello, e tu  non impedirgli di prenderti anche, la tunica, ecc. Lo stesso si trova in Matteo cap.V.v.39. Ma io  non ho mai visto nessun cristiano obbedire  a  questa legge, e nemmeno Gesù stesso si è mai comportato come ha insegnato agli altri.

XVIII,v.22, troviamo, che, quando qualcuno lo percosse su una guancia, egli non offrì anche l’altra guancia, ma, si arrabbiò a causa di questa percossa e chiese “Perché mi percuoti?” Similmente, negli Atti degli Apostoli, cap.XXIII,v.3, leggiamo che, quando il Sommo Sacerdote ordinò a coloro, che, gli stavano intorno di percuoterlo sulla bocca, Paolo non offrì l’altra guancia; egli lo maledisse dicendo “Iddio percoterà te, muraglia imbiancata! ecc.” Ciò è contrario al loro credo e distrugge il fondamento su cui poggia la loro religione, perché essi sostengono, che, la legge di Gesù è facile da osservare.

Se Paolo stesso, che, può essere chiamato il Dispensiere di Gesù, poteva non osservare il precetto di Gesù, chi fra gli altri, che, credono in lui può dimostrarmi di poterlo fare?” L’autore, che, aveva il Vangelo  e gli Atti degli Apostoli sotto mano  non poteva comunque  non aver capito in, che, modo Cristo avesse comandato ai suoi seguaci di offrire l’altra guancia a coloro, che, li avrebbero percossi, dato    che, in un altro punto, egli comanda ai suoi seguaci di tagliarsi una mano o un braccio, e di strapparsi un occhio, se queste parti del corpo, avessero dato scandalo.

Solo la profonda malizia ed ignoranza dei tempi in cui viveva Gesù può spiegare perché gli ebrei, ancora oggi, usano questi passi per svilire gli insegnamenti di Gesù Cristo.
