Berkeley/Oakland was the PLO’s capital on the west coast approximately forty years ago. As I recall, one afternoon I watched about five to six of U.C. Berkeley’s faculty campaigning with signs slandering Israel not far from Dwinelle. The group was rooting for terrorism, walking in a small circle. On different days, a huge sheet was hung on Dwinelle Hall’s wall, to the left of Dwinelle’s main entryway. Someone had painted in large letters anti-Semitic/anti-Israel slogans on the sheet, and at that time, I felt especially worried when reading the words, “death to Israel”.

On March 4th, 1933 the Democratic president, FDR, warned an entire nation of the manifestations of the economic depression Americans were experiencing at that time, and cautioned audiences against its devastating effects, when he delivered his poignant, first inaugural address to the American people. At the time, President Roosevelt was standing at the East Portico of the United States Capitol in Washington, in Washington D.C., when he said, “. . .The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”
Hamas’s and (and to an extent, Arafat’s) control over Gaza and the Palestinian Authority has jeopardized and compromised the Palestinians’ socioeconomic well-being, development, and visioning. The United Nations’ Security Council remains too terrified of the potentiality of an en masse domino effect of corruption and treachery instigated through Iran, to be executed by its proxies, the Houthis, hamas (and Palestinian collaborators), Jordanians, Egyptians, Qataris, Syrians, Islamic Jihadists, members of Hezbollah, and possibly, Al Qaeda (only as the latter might relate to the hostages) and therefore has selected to surrender to the whims of an oppressive Iranian regime.
For 75 years, Palestinian society has lacked economic independence, an ability to develop budgetary measures, or implement sound austerity programs. The United Nations’ Security Council understands developing nations’ shortcomings, in terms of time constraints, infrastructure advancement crucial for transformational change. Yet, the Council will not deter, let alone delegitimize massive fraud hamas (and Arafat) committed against the Palestinian people while concurrently facilitating a false narrative campaign slandering Israelis. The scope of this anti-Semitic agenda synthesized a mythic Palestinian history and a rational to perpetuate endless attacks against Israelis since the 1940s. Some assume, the Security Council is negligent, cowardly, and immoral, refusing to endorse a pro-Israeli peace pact. Rather, the Council has deigned to attempt to elevate the status of terrorist supporters.
This contrasts with the Israelis, standing together, with an Indomitable spirit, taking accountability for October 7th delays because the people of the kibbutzim had trusted their friends they had made, rapport building for years with Palestinians, some of whom helped to kidnap and sell as Israeli hostages.
Still, Israelis remain open minded, agile, and flexible, eager to find and release the hostages, to effectively counterattack, protect and defend the people of Israel against terrorists perpetrating massacres, massive kidnapping, torturing, and committing violence against men, women, children, and infants.
The “Security’s” anti-Semitic, (attempted) recruitment of pro-terrorist members into the UN is/was detrimental to the safety of the Jewish people, Christians, and those of other faiths. We stand together with Israel, sharing Israelis’ resolve to uphold their/our optimism and realistic vision of Israel’s future, the safe return of all of the remaining hostages, the safety of families living in Israel, and a peaceful and secure Middle East, devoid of terrorists.

In the past, pro-terrorist, pro-hamas parades were initially led by directors/managers showing up, providing specific directives along with coordinating multiple props, special sound effects, a variety of expensive sound systems, and special lighting to cultivate a spectacular sight/scene. People were “arranged”, carefully blocking, posing, wearing war paint/makeup with special effects: mostly marital. Young, tall male models donned Rambo outfits showing off their pecs. Others wore long sleeve shirts and a Palestinian keffiyeh shawl in a show of meta modern solidarity as proxies of Iran.
The photographers were able to take panoramas upstaged, at first glance, by elegantly positioned, meticulously attired terrorists. But as soon as someone held a mic to the marchers’ mugs, . . .the case was closed!
The crowds of anti-Semites garbed in well matched ensembles hadn’t a clue about Gaza, who lived and controlled Gaza prior to WWI, how the inhabitants of Gaza included Jewish people who had lived there during the rule of King David ( 1010-970 B.C.E.) and before.

The IDF should have been in Rafah weeks ago. The Biden Administration is dragging its feet, with a lot to say about controlling and budgeting weapons and short term aid to Israel. At times, The United States has depended on Israel for intelligence (sometimes considered a trade), the use of (free) Israeli Intellectual property rights, free upgrades of various types of American transports, and repayment or the aid (often with interest).
However, the Biden Administration is following Obama’s recommendation to obtain political support engendering extreme anti-Semitism which, so far, has cost the lives of Israeli soldiers, civilians, and the hostages. This is what the squad is chanting about and Obama and Biden are acting out.

Beginning yesterday, Google decided to block people who disagreed with posted articles which were anti-Semitic. For months now, Yahoo has been refusing to permit readers to responsibly post information refuting false narratives and inaccurate propaganda. Attempting to integrate and document relevant historic dates, events, statistics, and contextualized information became an impossibility.
Perhaps is it no coincidence the squad in recent days has become more outrageous, negatively demonstrating they fail to grasp American values, (what should be) basic human rights, freedoms, and patriotic verve. The squad and their friends are shutting down our civil rights, cavalierly dismissing their responsibility to help to protect and defend the United States and our basic freedoms.
This afternoon, today, President Obama came out to campaign for President Biden in a short, two-to-three-minute ad campaign. I hope the Jewish community realizes the difference between the squad, whose members are campaigning for the death of Israelis and their genocide, in contrast with voting for those who will reduce crime rather than inciting death squads; end terrorism and anarchy as opposed to attempting to orchestrate the destruction of Israel; Work with the Congress and the Senate to generate and implement meaningful housing for the poor and homeless instead of blindly sending humanitarian funds to multi-millionaire, hamas generals.
Come January, our leader/s should work to modify tax laws so the rich and super rich pay their fair share of taxes instead of politicos currying (the elite’s) favor. Our candidates should effectively rapport build amid e.g., Middle Eastern coalitions, committed to a fellowship of long-term global peace and security through reciprocated dialoging and consensus visioning focused on the future well-being among the citizenry of those nations.

Israelis were captivated by the agrarian leadership demonstrated by the thee industrious and serious interns from Tanzania: Joshua Mollel, Clemence Felix Mtenga, and Ezekiel Kitiku. Their dreams were to transform Tanzania through their knowhow and expertise in agriculture. With great sorrow, the Tanzanian community suffers the loss of two of the scholars. Now, Ezekiel Kitiku is the shining light although in our hearts, globally, three candles symbolically will always light our way to help us find courage, fortitude, and determination the three students from Tanzania always demonstrated.

Joshua Mollel, a devout Christian and young Tanzanian student, had already received his college degree from a university in the eastern Tanzanian city, Morogoro before researching agriculture methods in Israel. He was specializing in dairy farming. Joshua Loitu Mollel was killed, almost immediately after being kidnapped by hamas terrorists on October 7th, 2023. Clemence Felix Mtenga, age 22, also an assiduous agriculturist, tragically, was also kidnapped and later died. He was found November 18, 2023 in Israel. Clemence was also interning through and exchange program between Israel and the Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania.

Ezekiel Kitiku, also a fellow and intern through the Tanzanian university, was living at the same kibbutz, Nir Oz, as Clemence Mtenga. The farm was five minutes away by bicycle. Initially, Ezekiel and Clemence would take a bicycle or walk to the farm in the afternoons. Yet, Ezekiel was up very early on the morning of October 7th because a new work schedule had just been generated. Ezekiel was supposed to leave the kibbutz early so he departed from Kibbutz Nir Oz just around 1:00 a.m., when it was still dark.

At the time of the explosion, Ezekiel recalled, in case of an emergency or threats, all farmworkers and settlers had been directed to go inside a safety shelter which is just what Ezekiel did. On his way, he was startled by the wafting dark clouds of smoke and fire coming from the kibbutzim. Ezekiel immediately telephoned his two friends, Clemence and Joshua, to find out what was going. His friends explained, the kibbutzim was being bombarded by launched rockets and missiles from Gaza. Joshua and Clemence explained they too were going into the saferoom. That was the last call Ezekiel was able to make to them.

A day later, Ezekiel tried to return to Kibbutz Nir Oz, the IDF turned him away, along with all other civilians, telling them, the area was too dangerous. He was told to return to the farm which was more secure and he remained there for a few more days. Finally, one of the security team helped Ezekiel find a new place to reside at, about 18 and a half miles north of Gaza. (Sippy, 2023).

Elizabeth Warren was a remarkable child who overcame adversity upon the death of her father. She currently worth about $12 million dollars, much of which came from her days as a law professor. Having that kind of cash provided her with the freedom and opportunity to say what she wants (anytime, anywhere) while trying to focus on law, politics, finance, and special education. However, Dr. Warren is wrong if she believes she has sole discretion to deny Jewish people the right of human dignity by dismissing our basic American values, enunciating to her constituency’s false narratives, and cultivating an alienating and anti-Semitic landscape.

More recently, Elizabeth Warren has been an ardent supporter for extremist, anti-Israeli Palestinians while denouncing Israelis. Dr. Warren has single handedly promoted anti-Semitic sentiments within the United States of America, and has inspired, to an extent, hardliners within Gaza and the Palestinians Authority to disregard Israel’s generous offers and overtures related to the release of the hostages kidnapped on October 7th, 2023. Dr. Warren’s insidious speeches fuel ethnic hatred of Jews globally while being very dismissive of the hostage crisis in Gaza.

For many, Dr. Warren appears to be doing everything possible to be esteemed as one of the front runners in the upcoming November election. As a visible and often outspoken Democratic speaker, a public figure, and a renowned law professor, Dr. Warren should be held accountable for her continued public incitement (culminating in assault and battery of Jews), disturbing the peace, libeling Israel, incentivizing on campus anti-Semitic mayhem, marginalizing gang-raping of young women (who are primarily Jewish), ignoring hamas decapitating infants (who were primarily Jewish), and hamas burning (Jewish) infants and families alive. Other issues include, Dr. Warren negatively influencing American communities by factionalizing our American citizenry, demonizing Israelis and Jews, and discouraging national unity through compromising good race relations throughout our nation. It’s time for the professor to desist from headlining for extreme anti-Semitism, and being a pivotal “player” slandering and promoting a genocide against Israelis.

Any one in hamas’s government, terrorist troops, or in their jurisdiction cited for corruption (which is omnipresent in Hamas’s community), disagrees with a hamas policy, precedent, or proposition, or has provoked someone in hamas’s hierarchy will be accused of collaboration. Because these types of “meddlesome” infractions are so commonplace, they are used as effective measures to maintain the status quo and stabilize the community. Some penalties for perpetrators can mean impending ostracism from the organization, community, and might suggest time in the slammer if not six feet under. Hamas’s use of quick/no trials are expedited swiftly and are an expedient means to facilitate false narratives, furthering hamas’s “victimhood” myth, while hamas’s propaganda machine virtue signals to diverse Arab and international sectors.

We can surmise, Najem’s abusive “sermons” are met with “perks”, traditions within, e.g., ISIS’s, Hezbollah’s, and Hamas’s particularistic milieus honoring race hatred as underprivileged, third-word sectors (for generations). Najem’s (seemingly) endless slander of Jewish people’s poor/nonexistent moral development is another example of his misanthropic outlook.
Perhaps it might be in Najem’s best interest to read up on a little of Piaget’s work related to children’s moral development (primarily boys) and then try out Gilligan’s work on the same topic which deals with the ethics of care.

So far, Najem is failing terribly in terms of his own personal affective development. His intolerance toward Jews is chilling, especially because he is calling on all racists to continue his campaign to dehumanize and deprive others the opportunity to enjoy freedom (when presented to them): to discover new and beautiful frontiers (likely never experienced before); to savor the gorgeous array of diversity in our world; and gain an awareness of opportunities to ingratiate ourselves with others, whose shared ideas we can marvel.

During Women’s History Month, Americans waited patiently for Dr. Biden (President Biden’s wife) to speak to the American people about her concerns for the immediate return of the hostages from Israel, but she provided no forthcoming news to allay the fears and anxieties of the Jewish community and global watchers after hearing of the horrific attack on October 7th at the kibbutzim. Rather, a long held silence was publicly punctuated by her “private” demand for a cease fire in Gaza. First Ladies have a tremendous impact on their adoring public. A First Lady can constructively impact the morale of a nation, influence world leaders, while epitomizing the ideals and altruistic spirit of our nation and its citizenry. We longed to hear a voice of empowerment demanding global rights for all women, specifically to protect Israeli women who have frequently been targets of stone throwing terrorists for over half a century.

This war could have ended on October 8th had the hostages returned.
