Generally, Islamic community and family life is rife with violence. Whether it is an “honor killing of a family member (usually a female for even the slightest imprudence). Gang warfare and gun fights are not uncommon. The concept of Love has neither the soil nor atmosphere to flourish.

I can remember an incident in 1970 when my wife and I spent two weeks in Israel (one week visiting Jerusalem). Outside Damascus gate lay a dead horse. Even more tragic was a father beating his son with a hefty stick adjacent to the poor horse. More than likely the son may have not been attentive and possibly the horse stumbled. Rather than beat a dead horse, the older and much stronger father, without reservation, beat his son violently. The son learned a good lesson, which he and countless other males perpetuate unto the generations.

Violence in some, most, or maybe all Muslim communities (I am not sure which) has existed and now persists on a daily basis. Men are given a pass in their war manual—the Koran—and use it frequently. Now see how easy it would be to turn on Jews with this testosterone-driven hate and vengeance.

It’s a war between darkness, hate and death and light, love, and life. L’Chaim!!!!!!!

The Gazan population, as a recent poll shows—is still 70% in favor of the actions of Hamas, so cooperation from most of Gaza is not going to happen. The age-old demeaning of one’s Judaism to make points with the hegemony still brings up stench today. Providing bullets to an enemy’s anti-Semitism is either perverted Tikkun Olam, or simply an act of suicide. Even if Schumer had a viable point to make, anyone—especially a Jew—needs to understand who and what you are promoting with your selfish podium offense.
