Therefore, when the 2020 presidential election took place, we witnessed blatant election interference on a scale never before seen in the history of the United States. As has now been confirmed, the FBI worked with Facebook to censor the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story ahead of the election. Unfortunately for the Deep State, Mark Zuckerberg spilled the beans on Joe Rogan’s podcast about how Facebook’s algorithm and good “fact-checkers” quashed the story that surely could have swayed voters. And, of course, the Justice Department has been covering his tracks and protecting Hunter since he was caught red-handed. The ACLJ filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the FBI when its collusion with Big Tech was discovered. Our FOIA recently revealed that the FB I considers private social media “its most valuable asset.” And why shouldn’t the FBI enjoy collaborating with Zuckerberg? Meta reportedly “has approximately 40,000 people working on security and has spent more than $20 billion on such efforts since 2016.” You can probably guess what qualifies as “safety.” We also know that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) launched a full-scale attack on conservative social media following the collapse of the Russian hoax narrative. He began targeting what he considered “misinformation,” i.e., conservative viewpoints. It pressured social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to censor posts that did not align with their agenda. Big Tech’s throttling of conservatives throughout 2020 caught the attention of Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk, who noticed that his messages were failing to reach his followers. It used to be retweeted up to 140,000 times a day. But then the numbers dropped dramatically in the days leading up to Biden’s election. And during election week, Twitter completely blocked Kirk from accessing his account because he raised the alarm about Hunter’s laptop.

Matthew Menzies, 31, John Rozendaal, 63, and Gregory Schwedock, 35, were taken into custody and charged with disrupting a religious service, police told the Post. As he was escorted out, one of them shouted “Free Palestine,” a video shared with X shows. I hope your personal Easter service didn’t experience such a disgusting outburst. What happened to civil disagreements that still showed respectfor religious beliefs? IMMAgine how scary it must have been for the parishioners of St. Patrick’s. Unfortunately, when many New Yorkers see a pro-Palestinian protest taking place, their first reaction may be that gunfire or explosions will soon follow. Where is the outrage over this service disruption? If a pro-Israel protest broke out during a Ramadan service, the far left would go mad at the lack of respect shown towards the Muslim faith. A religious service is not the appropriate venue for stunting political protests. Conservatives seem to recognize this fact, so why not the left? I am grateful that the police were able to stop the Easter protest and prevent any possible violence. I hope that the police who had the courage to arrest these protesters face no consequences for doing the right thing. Unfortunately, attacks against Israel are growing among members of Congress. In fact, 19 senators just signed a letter asking President Biden to help create a “non-militarized” Palestinian state. The proposal is very dangerous for Israel. A “non-militarized” zone could allow the Palestinian Authority to become the leader of the government because “Palestine” has no official army. Such a move would also not require the removal of terrorist groups like Hamas. In other words, the status quo would remain in place to elevate “Palestine” to a state under the dangerous rule of the Palestinian Authority. I met the family of another new client, Intizar Masih. This young man has a pregnant wife, a 10-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. This beautiful family now has no one to provide for them because Intizar is in prison. He was accused of joining a WhatsApp chat group where people allegedly posted sacrilegious material. Intizar’s wife was in tears when she told me that she would give birth, this time without her husband. Yet it was encouraging to hear that while Intizar is in prison, the body of Xst is with his wife and children. A family in the United States is partnering with us to provide for their needs as we fight for r in the courts. December 6, 2023 PERSECUTED CHURCH: As you know, the ACLJ has been operating in Pakistan for 14 years through its affiliate, the Legal Aid Organization (OLA). I recently had the privilege of visiting our office, meeting our staff and clients, praying with them, and working with our team. In our blogs we talked about Shahzad Masih and Amoon Ayub, two clients who are on death row due to false blasphemy charges. This visit showed me once again how the Lord uses even negative circumstances for his glory. Shahzad, who was 16 when he was arrested on false charges of committing blasphemy against Islam, was locked up in a prison near his hometown while he faced a five-year trial. Amoon has been in another prison for the past nine years, facing a trial and then an appeal in the High Court. After Shahzad’s conviction in November 2022, he was transferred to the same prison where Amoon is locked up along with his brother Qaiser, represented by another organization. Through Amoon and Shahzad, we met another Christian prisoner, Ahsan Masih, who was also recently arrested on false blasphemy charges. I will write about Ahsan’s case separately; but for now, I would like to share how God brought these four men together in the same prison and how he is working in their lives. While Shahzad was in the other prison, he could not communicate with other believers. But here Amoon, Qaiser, Shahzad and Ahsan read the Bible and pray together every morning. While Shahzad and Ahsan are uneducated, Amoon is an educated man and a musician who taught music before he was arrested. The prison psychologist recently got approval for Amoon to have a flute. When I heard that Shahzad had been transferred to this prison, I sent a message to Amoon through his wife (who has been visiting him once a week for the past nine years) that I wanted Amoon to teach Shahzad the Word of God. Nice to see he’s doing just that. Yes, these men are still in prison, but the Lord doesn’t let that go to waste either! In most prisons, families of inmates can deposit money for inmates to purchase items from the prison store. One prisoner is usually assigned for the entire block to make a list of things each prisoner wants, go to the store, get the things, and then distribute them among the prisoners. The prisoner who did this was stealing and taking things by force from other prisoners. This responsibility has recently been entrusted to Shahzad, who everyone knows is a Christian, and he is fulfilling his duty faithfully and honestly, shining the light of Xist in this dark prison. I also met with the families and lawyers of Shahzad, Amoon and Ahsan to discuss the cases with them. We then met with some officials and planned how to proceed. Another pleasant discovery during this visit was that the government is making improvements in the police department. In the past, allegations of corruption and mistreatment by police officers were common. I met with police officials and learned about the education and training programs the government has put in place for the police. Police stations are being renovated, advanced information technology is being installed and liaison officers are being appointed to deal with the public. The government has also started volunteer/internship programs to enable students from different universities to work with police officers, which has never been seen before in Pakistan. This is a good start, but there is still much to do. The climate of intolerance towards minorities is still rampant. False accusations of blasphemy continue to arrive. Innocent people continue to go to prison.

Now this young Christian will be hanged for his Christian faith. We have mobilized our legal team on the ground in Pakistan to represent him and appeal his case. We must put an end to this vile miscarriage of justice. This is the most abominable violation of human rights and we will take the case all the way to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

We have already helped free Christians from death row in Pakistan – like Christian mother Asia Bibi, charged under the same barbaric law – but we can’t do it without YOU.

Christian pastor Raymond Koh was forcibly kidnapped by the Malaysian government. In a rehearsed maneuver that lasted just 40 seconds, public footage shows at least 15 men emerging from three SUVs, forcing Pastor Koh into one of the vehicles and driving away. He has not been seen since. Malaysian authorities have raided Pastor Koh’s church in the past and he has received death threats at his home. He has now been missing for seven years and the Malaysian government refuses to provide answers. This is a blatant violation of the very Malaysian constitution which, on paper, claims to protect religious freedom. This is a case of enforced disappearance, intended to intimidate the Christian community, arising from Pastor Koh’s Christian faith and position as a pastor. The Malaysian government must be held accountable. We are supporting Pastor Koh at the United Nations, demanding that Malaysia maintain its constitution, provide answers about Pastor Koh’s enforced disappearance, and ultimately find and release him. No one should be targeted for practicing Christianity. We must demand justice for Pastor Koh before it is too late.
