The number of protesters rises to five: The Digital Services Act has been applied since 25 August 2023 for large platforms and search engines, while for others since 17 February. The more stringent rules of the new law must be respected by 19 services: 17 VLOPs (Very Large Online Platforms) and two VLOSEs (Very Large Online Search Engines). On 20 December 2023, three more VLOPs were added to the list, namely P0000rnhub, Xvideos and Stripchat, for which the DSA will be applied from 20 April.
