Dio non guarda alle nostre credenze ideologiche o religiose anche perché Gesù essendo della tribù di Giuda non ha scelto di appartenere alla classe sacerdotale ma ha deciso di appartenere alla classe laicale per esplicitare la sua missione.”

Per questa intervista al prof. Lorenzo io mi sento sconvolto e nel mio animo quasi stordito cerco nascono molte considerazioni anche se quello che abbiamo ricevuto sono stimoli dolorosi quanto salutari quì ora non posso nascondere a voi il turbine delle mie emozioni.
Io Diodato Calvo premetto che se dicessi che sono ateo non sarebbe la verità ma neanche sarebbe una affermazione molto lontana dalla realtà infatti io come la quasi totalità degli uomini del mio tempo so vagamente che Dio esiste e che mi ama ma come tutti gli uomini del mio tempo di DIO ho perso il senso della Sua Presenza concretamente operante nella mia vita momento per momento e quindi non posso dire come può dire il prof. Lorenzo “dietro la scorza impenetrabile della materialità quotidiana io nella fede più arida e razionale cammino sempre con il mio Dio che è anche il mio partner e ogni mio passo tento di porlo sempre affianco al Suo come LUI infallibilmente mette ogni suo passo affianco al mio“.
La sua esperienza di fede è così laica ed è così unica perché è lontana dallo stereotipo religioso a cui siamo assuefatti. Lui il teologo Lorenzo non ha affatto bisogno di parlare di Dio per trasmetterne la presenza.
Secondo me è proprio questo che rende il teologo Lorenzo un uomo in autorità e che non ha bisogno di parlare come un libro stampato perché ogni sua parola nasce solo da una sua esperienza che ha sempre le sue radici nel suo vissuto razionale.
Altro aspetto della sua persona è quello della sua integrità e semplicità che non solo lo fa risultare credibile e incisivo ma che ha anche il potere di rendere trasferibile e condivisibile quella sua insolita esperienza personale a tutti noi.
Anche la sua esclusiva relazione con Dio diventa facilmente accessibile per tutti infatti per chi legge i suoi temi su “fedele.altervista.org” o variamente disseminati in tutti i suoi siti si rende conto che Dio non fa resistenza ma che in Cristo che ha pagato ogni nostro misfatto viene facilmente incontro a tutti. Allora la sua percezione e la sua razionale esperienza di Dio diventa facilmente anche la nostra! Leggendo il suo pensiero mi sono accorgo che quel Dio che ritenevo assente dalla mia vita in realtà non ha mai lasciato e non ha mai distolto i suoi occhi di compassione da me neanche per un istante.
