When the U.S. started allowing Muslims into the country, it was no different than allowing Germans, Irish, Jews, etc. Some Germans supported Hitler during WWII and some Irish supported the IRA. In this case, Muslims are supporting a culture that extols terrorism. The only way to address it is to pass laws that limit certain freedoms that incite hatred and violence. We have some already; you can’t yell fire in a crowded theater; you can’t threaten the life of an elected official; etc. In the past we applauded our being a melting pot society. We may be seeing that phenom now and the solution is to either scrape the pot clean or toss it out and buy a new one.
