US House Resolution Unanimously Condemns Palestinian Incitement. The US House of Representatives passed a resolution unanimously condemning the Palestinian leadership’s incitement to violence. It is well past time for President Abbas to stand up and condemn all acts of violence, rather than encouraging violence by glorifying terrorists and teaching children to view Israelis as animals.” Palestinian incitement, with the help of Abbas, did not begin only recently, although it has become increasingly fierce. The intense anti-Semitism and anti-Israel indoctrination in Palestinian schools and cultural events, including the glorifying of terrorists, has been ongoing for years, as documented by Palestinian Media Watch, among other sources. According to Von Goetze, the EU’s initiative to mark products originating in Judea and Samaria is merely a technical step. Israel is anticipating a decision by the EU in the next few days on guidelines for member states to begin labeling goods from Jewish businesses in Judea and Samaria to differentiate them from products made inside Israel’s 1949 armistice border. Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely said Tuesday at a press conference at the Barkan industrial Park in Judea and Samaria that the move to mark products from Jewish communities is part of a clear process of delegitimizing the State of Israel. “Whoever is trying to boycott certain regions of Israel is basically boycotting the state itself and creating delegitimization of the state,” she said. “When you boycott Judea and Samaria,” she added, “you eventually boycott Tel Aviv.” Meanwhile, Knesset Member Tzipi Livni (Zionist Camp) criticized the government’s conduct regarding the European Union’s initiative to mark products manufactured beyond the 1949 armistice line, telling Israel Radio that she opposes the European initiative, but the government does not know how to deal with this challenge. The foregoing is additional evidence of Hamas’s cynical exploitation of donated funds and materials that were designed for the rehabilitation and development of civilian infrastructures in the Gaza Strip, for terrorism. Why is the EU Stigmatizing Israel? Seeing European shops label Jewish products awakens painful memories. By: David Walzer, Politico. Many Israelis — both on the right and left of the political spectrum — look in utter astonishment at EU plans to compel European importers and retailers to brand Israeli products from the settlements with newly minted, Israel-specific consumer labeling. And it seems these labels would apply only to Israel, not to other countries or territories embroiled in territorial disputes. It is a step that threatens to reshape our relations, and I fear not for the better. Europe is Israel’s main partner in trade and business. We are an ally for Europe in the Middle East, a region that now poses some very hard questions for Europe. Most importantly, we share the same humanist aspirations for our countries. This makes us part of the same family, and I hope this allows me to speak openly and honestly. Building on this kinship, recent months have seen a flourishing of diplomatic meetings between Israel and the EU. Before the summer, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met High Representative Federica Mogherini in Jerusalem and once again in New York. Last month, the prime minister also hosted European Council President Donald Tusk in Jerusalem. While we fully respect that the EU needs to apply its own acquis, this makes it very hard to escape the conclusion that this is a political step, with the distinctly political message that Israel is to be blamed and punished for the stagnation of the peace process. In Israel it is hard to explain how this could conceivably help kick-start peace talks. Nor does it appear to be a timely message. The Middle East is ablaze, with wars raging in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen. These wars have become magnets for Daesh and Hezbollah Islamists, engaged in the random slaughter of civilians. We are facing an unprecedented refugee crisis. What is needed is for the EU to help persuade Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to agree to direct talks. Without such talks there can be no progress at all, not even a beginning. What is needed is for the EU to use its clout to help end the spate of attacks against Israeli citizens of the last few weeks, amongst others by getting Palestinian leaders to tone down their divisive rhetoric. What is needed is for the EU to do more to help disarm Gaza, whilst aiding the Palestinian Authority in regaining control over the Strip. While labeling legislation is a red herring, a painful distraction, the latter steps would enhance the prospects of success in tangible and practical ways. There is no doubt Europe is capable of making a significant contribution to the Middle East peace process. But we need to grasp the nettle, not start another smoke and mirrors game. Nuova isola dell’Artico entra nella Federazione Russa. Gli equipaggi degli elicotteri militari russi “Mi-26” hanno scoperto una nuova isola nel Mar Glaciale Artico, riporta l’ufficio stampa della holding Russian Helicopters.
La scoperta geografica ha esteso le acque territoriali della Russia di 452 km².
L’isola è di circa 500 metri quadrati e si trova 1 metro sotto il livello del mare. La nuova isola è stata chiamata “Yaya”. Ciò è dovuto al fatto che ciascuno dei membri degli equipaggi dei due elicotteri “Mi-26”, una volta avvistata l’isola, ha gridato: “Io io, l’ho scoperta io!” (in russo io si traduce “ya”).
L’isola era stata scoperta nel 2013, ma il fatto non era stato reso pubblico prima del termine di ricerche geografiche.

Il 26 settembre un gruppo di poliziotti insieme a uomini armati ha caricato una manifestazione studentesca che protestava contro la riforma dell’istruzione pubblica. Sei persone sono state uccise sul luogo dell’incidente, altri 43 studenti sono risultati dispersi. Più tardi, fuori dalla città è stata rinvenuta una fossa comune con 28 corpi non identificati. Inoltre due gruppi di killer, associati con la polizia di Iguala, hanno riconosciuto l’omicidio di 17 dei 43 studenti.

SONO STATI LORO AD ABBATTERLO! ]] Il tema dell’abbattimento in Ucraina dell’aereo malese è scomparso quasi completamente dai media occidentali. Nell’intervista alla MIA “Rossiya Segodnya” il noto giornalista giapponese Kadzuo Kobajasi fa notare che gli USA e l’Ucraina non sono interessati a rivelare le informazioni di cui dispongono sull’incidente temendo che ciò invaliderebbe le accuse mosse alla Russia.
– Il fatto più sorprendente è che gli USA e il governo ucraino non presentino alcuna prova. Ciò è strano. Se gli USA dichiarano che l’aereo è stato abbattuto da un missile “Buk” russo o dalle milizie ucraine con il sostegno dei russi, allora Washington e Kiev dovrebbero essere interessate a fornire prove a conferma di tali tesi. Ma, a mio parere, il punto è che il governo ucraino dispone del set completo di dati relativi all’incidente del Boeing ma non vuole renderli di pubblico dominio. Questo è, certo, solo il mio punto di vista personale, ma è probabile che l’Ucraina non possa rendere noti questi dati perché, in tal caso, diventerà ovvia l’inconsistenza dei tentativi di accollare alla Russia la responsabilità dell’abbattimento del Boeing. Forse la responsabilità dell’incidente del Boeing va addossata all’Ucraina? Non dispongo, certo, di prove della colpa dell’Ucraina ma tutto questo caso mi sembra molto strano.
– Perché adesso si sono zittiti i paesi che subito dopo l’incidente accusavano attivamente la Russia?
– Proprio perché non è stata presentata alcuna prova della colpa della Russia. Se avessero delle prove, avrebbero messo in campo i dati sia sul Boeing che sul caccia Su notato vicino all’aereo di linea malese.
– Come si svilupperanno ulteriormente gli avvenimenti?
– Non so che dire. È ovvio che se i dati di cui dispongono gli USA e le autorità ucraine dimostrano chiaramente che il Boeing malese non è stato abbattuto da gruppi filorussi, ciò inficerà completamente i motivi per le accuse e per le sanzioni contro la Russia. A mio parere, è proprio questo che non vogliono gli USA e l’Ucraina. Non sono interessati a rendere di pubblica ragione questi dati che risulterebbero essere in contrasto con tutto ciò che gli USA e l’Ucraina hanno finora detto e fatto. Pertanto i dubbi rimangono. Proprio per questo motivo la Russia dovrebbe presentare al pubblico internazionale testimonianze ancora più dettagliate in merito a questo caso.
Le milizie del sud-est dell’Ucraina hanno preso sotto il proprio controllo la maggior parte della zona dell’incidente del Boeing in cui sono perite 298 persone. Ma i militari ucraini continuano i bombardamenti d’artiglieria del territorio di precipitazione dell’aereo come se cercando di distruggere le prove materiali e di intralciare la conduzione di un’indagine oggettiva capace di stabilire i responsabili dell’incidente. A quanto risulta, la risposta alla domanda sul vero responsabile non serve né a Kiev, né a Bruxelles, né ai media occidentabili che poco tempo fa accusavano i “separatisti filorussi” e Mosca di abbattimento dell’aereo.
Kadzuo Kobajasi non è l’unico giornalista occidentale che mette in dubbio la tesi della responsabilità della Russia nella tragedia del Boeing malese. Il numero di coloro che la pensano così diventa sempre più grande.
