the injuries that they suffered by the hands of those who don’t know
You. I know that they must be in pain. Please heal their pain… please
touch their bodies and give them the grace that they need to be able to
handle this incredibly difficult time. I pray also for their minds –
they they would not be overcome by fear or discouragement or depression.
I pray that they would be able to feel Your presence so closely during
this time. I pray for those that attacked them – they are acting out
of ignorance and not knowing what they were doing, just as Saul did.
Please open their eyes to see the error of their ways – open their eyes
to see YOU, Jesus. Please continue to use these three soldiers for Your
glory – help them not to stop speaking about You and about the things
they have said and heard. Help them, once they are restored [and even
now while they are suffering], to be a light for You in the land of
Vietnam. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty and Your protection.
I also pray specifically for believers from ethnic minority groups.
I’ve heard that these believers are often the most isolated and alone –
that must be so hard. I don’t know how You can provide fellowship and
connection for them, but please do it – even if it has to be angels that
visit them. They need one another in this walk that they are walking,
so please make a way where there really seems to be none. Encourage
them and strengthen them daily, Lord. Provide every need that they have
according to Your promise.
I pray also for the health and protection of all those who travel the
country of Vietnam to teach and to preach. I ask that You would
completely protect them, physically, mentally and spiritually – from any
attack of the enemy. Please send angels to do battle on their behalf
in the name of Jesus. Give them Your wisdom in who to speak to, when,
and what to say. Guard their doctrine and their lives so that hypocrisy
does not enter Your church. Help them to have a genuine compassion and
love and burden for the people they are speaking to.
And finally, I pray for the Open Doors [and all other] training
programs in Vietnam for woman and youth/children’s workers. You know
that I believe that children’s ministry might be the most important
ministry in a church – if the children are raised knowing God, they will
avoid making so many mistakes later in life. Please help the women to
be encouraged and strengthened in their faith – use these women
powerfully to teach others and disciple others. Give wisdom to all
those doing children and youth ministry in this nation – they need it
desperately. I pray for the children and youth – that they would come
to know You at the earliest possible age and that You would put a fire
in them to go out and make a difference in the world and in their
nation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Touch those that travel throughout this country preaching and teaching
to those in need of You, dear Lord. Additionally, be with and supply
support for Open Doors as they go into countries such as Viet Nam
providing training programs and materials to Your people. Help eachof
our brothers and sisters in Viet Nam know that their family in other
countries are praying for them and that You, O Lord, are their Savior

The true Vine is with You Lord. As the great Physician it is my prayer
there is a miraculous healing with the Christian leaders who were
attacked and their healing and love for the people will be a witness to
the government. Open the eyes of the government leaders and soften their
hearts. Protect the villages where the number of believers are being
scrutinzed by those who are not believers by convicting and convincing
their hearts that love and forgiveness is the key.
