I pray to You tonight for the brother and sister Christians in Tunisia.
While it may seem that in so many countries Islam is rampant and
spreading, we know that everything in this world is in Your Hands. No
matter the violence, they cannot win against Your Word. I would ask
that You give the authoritiies in this country the wisdom to deal with
the rising madical Muslims that are organizing violent demonstrations
and threatening the Christians. Lord, it is amazing to me that if those
of the Islamic faith were so secure in their religion, they would not
have to force it on anyone. But while they continue to use violence and
murder, Lord, through You, we continue in love. I would ask that You
protect the Christian leaders and give the Christians courage and
discernment in sharing the gospel with their loved ones. Help them to
remain true to You no matter the cost, because there is a Heavenly
reward awaiting them. Thank You for Your Word and Your love.

First, I just want to thank You for the amazing reports that I just
read about Steve and Tahira. I’m so encouraged that You are making
disciples of all nations all around the world through Your body and
through various means. It’s amazing to see how they are standing strong
for You despite extreme opposition and even threats on their lives. I
pray today for Steve and Tahira – I pray that You would give them
wisdom, strength and direction for their lives in the days ahead.
Protect and cover them and provide every need that they may have as they
continue to serve You and live for You.
I also would like to pray that You would stop the violence in these Mslm
demonstrations that are rising up in Tunisia. Please give wisdom to
the authorities in how to handle these situations so that people are not
harmed. Please especially protect believers in the midst of these
violent riots – and make Yourself real to the rioters so that they can
become zealous for You and not for a false god or false teachings.
I pray for the mentioned church leader who had to flee the country
because of threats made against his family. I pray for Your peace and
guidance for this man, and that You would show him what to do next and
how to serve You best at this time. I also pray for all Christian
leaders throughout the nation of Tunisia. You may desire for some to
flee when danger threatens, and You may desire for some to stay. I pray
that You would give Your wisdom in each situation so that these leaders
remain in Your will – and then I pray Your protection over them as they
follow You. Please watch over their families and loved ones, and just
help them to know what to do and to have the strength to do it.
Finally, I pray for each Tunisian believer who has the will and want to
share the gospel with others. I pray that You would make them wise as
serpents and that You would give clear direction to them in terms of
when to share and with whom to share. I pray that they would not have
zeal without knowledge, and that they would use the wisdom that You have
given them in order to discern what is appropriate. On the other hand,
I pray that You would grant them boldness and give them the courage to
speak out when You lead – even if that would go against ‘conventional’
wisdom. You are able to block surveillance, redirect authorities, make
believers invisible to their enemies. I pray that You would continue to
make ways for Your gospel to spread in this nation so that more can
come to know You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
