for the political situation in this country – that Your will would be
done and that somehow those who love You would be able to influence the
direction of this country so that it can fulfill the purpose that You
have for it. I pray for those who are fearful for their lives because
of their faith – especially MBBs. Protect them in Your name, Lord.
Equip them with whatever they need to serve You and live for You and
bring You glory in this land. I pray that You would bring about the
downfall of al-Shabaab in the name of Jesus. Destroy this group that
seeks to destroy your people. Bring down any leaders who are seeking to
bring harm to Your name and Your people. And finally I pray that You
would GROW and FLOURISH the believers who are in the country of Somalia –

their nation and spread and preach the gospel. Teach them how to be a
witness for You, teach them the words to say and commission them to go
where You desire them to go. Give them sound teaching and keep them
away from false doctrine. Anoint them with power by Your Holy Spirit
that will enable them to perform great acts and miracles in Your name to
give credit to their testimony. Be glorified through these believers
and through what You do in the nation of Somalia, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
