that You have wrought for us in Christ, and we ask for strength and
perseverance to proclaim the Gospel and live it out every day. I lift
up our brothers and sisters in Oman before You and ask that You would
give them perseverance in the face of quiet but fierce persecution.
Help them to stand strong for You, Lord. Help them to glorify You by
sharing Your love through the Gospel with their neighbors and especially
with their persecutors. I pray for protection against the doubts that
the enemy hurls against them, and I praise You for the church that You
are raising up in this country. Lord Jesus, may You receive the full
reward for Your sufferings, and may Your name be intensely glorified in
Oman through Your followers. Be with them in tough times and strengthen
them when their families threaten them or cast them out. Be their
everything so that they will want for nothing and be completely
satisfied in You. Thank You for Your grace and goodness in the midst of
suffering. We praise You for what You are accomplishing and will
accomplish in Oman!
I ask that this evening You reach out and touch the Crhistians living in
Oman. Keep them safe that they may continue to spread Your Word.
Encourage and givem them spiritual growth to stand firm and to reach out
to others in their country, even while knowing they may be persecuted
for Your sake Help the Gospel to continue to spread in this country
through satellite TV and radio programs, reaching many who may otherwise
not hear of You. Let our brothers and sisters in Christ know that

nothing compared to what believers in the Middle East have to endure on a
daily basis. I pray this morning for every believer in the country of
Oman – every expatriate and every indigenous believer – and I pray for
Your supernatural wisdom and strength for them today. For those who are
weary and who are even thinking of giving up – give them resolve and
fortitude today, Lord! Help them to cling to You when that’s all they
can do. Provide their every need – physical, spiritual, emotional – as
You are all that they have.
I pray specifically this morning for all foreign workers in Oman. I
pray that You would grant them boldness and a fearless spirit, but I
also pray that You would grant them wisdom, so that their time of being
able to minister in this land wouldn’t end before its time. I pray that
You would supernaturally intervene and stop anyone who would try to
harm them or stop them from fulfilling the calling You have placed on
them to share the gospel in Oman. I ask that You would guide and direct
them in terms of where to go and what to say.
I also pray that You would continue to grow the believers who still
live in Oman, especially the indigenous peoples. Help them not to
remain babies in the faith – but to be strengthened and to grow, to be
trained in right doctrine and to be able to share their faith with those
around them. Raise them up to be teachers and leaders as Your gospel
continues to move throughout Oman.
And finally, I pray for every TV program, radio program, book, and
other media-related method that is being used to share the gospel in
Oman. I pray that these methods would land on fertile soil, that they
would not be shut down, that those operating them would use wisdom in
terms of when and where to show them. I pray that many would hear these
messages and be saved. In Jesus’ name, amen.
We bow before you and give you praise and thanksgiving for the gift
of salvation – the depth of your love is beyond comprehension. I lift
up these people from Oman to you this morning and ask for your hand of
protection around them. Keep them safe and gather them together to gain
strength and encouragement from each other. Help them to cling to you
and realize completely that You are their source of everything they
need. Enable them to let go of family and friends who ostracize them
and find what they need from their family of believers. Thank You
Father for your supernatural power to accomplish the good work You have

world. Lord, I ask that You raise awareness of the persecution that
these believers face on a daily basis. Lord, pour out Your Holy Spirit
on Oman so that many more will come to know You as Savior and Lord!
Please bless the materials that are available so that all who long for
and need them will have access to them. Also, continue to bless the TV
and radio programs that air in Oman so that many more can be reached
through these media. Lord, please raise up leaders in this country that
will truly promote the so-called religious freedom that is supposed to
be practiced. Continue to strengthen my brothers and sisters in this
country. Help them to remain in the faith despite the circumstances.
Lord, continue to bless Open Doors and other organizations like it so
that they can continue the good work of reaching the lost with Your
Gospel! May all our hearts continue to be burdened to pray for the
unfortunate all over this world! Thank You for Your Unfailing Love and
