One
of the few remaining Communist regimes, Cuba continues to isolate
itself from the rest of the world. The totalitarian regime allows no
competitors of any kind. Religious groups complain about widespread
surveillance and infiltration by state security agents. Pastors and
Christians are sometimes pressured to stop evangelizing and to limit
their activities to their own church premises. Although the majority of
Christians here are Roman Catholics, recent years have seen great growth
amongst Protestant Christians, especially among the young.

Pray:

• Praise God for the growth of the church here and pray that it would continue.
• The growing numbers of unregistered house churches have little
  access to Bibles, which are distributed through official channels only.
  Pray that God’s Word will reach them.
• That pastors and church leaders would receive biblical and discipleship training so that the church can grow in maturity.

 Help Christians where the need is greatest!

   • Amen. Father I join with Elizabeth
     in sending up prayers and petitions for Cuba. Lord, I have a soft spot
     in my heart for that nation and hope to visit there one day. How much
     more do you love that nation–you who see it every minute of every day.
     Abba, you are waiting for us to love beyond ourselves and our personal
     needs. You are waiting for us to take the focus off ourselves and see
     the bigger picture. Abba, there is a time and season for everything.
     Creator and sovereign Lord, the old guard is changing and the young
     people should have the opportunity to lead in righteousness and justice.
     So loving Father, you who alone can change the hearts of the most
     hardened king, please let your holy spirit of peace anoint the hearts of
     the older leaders of Cuba. Put your love in their hearts. Please,
     Father, let there be a smooth transition from one era to the next. Let
     your kingdom come in Cuba, let your light shine, bring under you
     subjection the principalities and powers that hold the nation captive,
     and bring an improvement to the people of Cuba. Almighty God, your
     kindness leads people to repentance, so I am asking for you to show your
     mighty kindness to the island of Cuba where a faithful few are keeping
     the faith in spite of the hardships they have been facing. Please,
     Father, reward them openly.

     Bless the youth. Provide well-paying jobs in Cuba for them so that
     they will not have to leave their country to seek brighter pastures.
     Let Cuba rise again, but this time in righteousness and justice.

     I thank you for hearing our prayers, in the name of Yeshua, the King of Kings.

   Flood Cuba with your grace, mercy and love…may the people who live there
   experience you in a powerful and living way. I pray that you bless the
   righteous in Cuba and surround them with favor as a shield as Your Word
   states.
   I ask in the mighty Name of Jesus that bibles and teaching materials be
   provided for the people in Cuba. That as your Spirit encompasses the
   land of Cuba it would come with the miracle of bibles for each believer.
   Direct and speak to believers in America to find ways to be a part of blessing the people in Cuba.
   Protect each person that has given their heart over to you Jesus. May
   they not only prosper in you but also prosper in their daily needs.
   Strengthen their physical bodies and encourage their hearts. Provide
   miracles in their lives as the gospel continues to spread.
   God, bless the country of my birth in a powerful way!

4. I pray for the continued growth of the church and that it be blessed exceedingly
   Abundantly. By the power of Jesus Christ may leading officials accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord
   of their lives and walk in the fullness of life in Jesus Christ. Revive renew and strengthen the
   faith of the those who are joint heirs with Jesus Christ. May provision come especially in the are
   area of economics and communism be replaced by democracy and holiness to the only true and
   living God.

5. Isn’t it amazing that transexuals can
   get FREE surgery to become the gender they want to be in that nation.
   In France where I live, on TV we view commercials to come and visit the
   beautiful country of Cuba which shows nothing but gorging onself on
   foods of all kinds, basking in the sun, 5 star nightclubs, restaurants
   and party party party! The sins of all lust and filth are in the heart
   of leaders, who’ve always lived freely and eat to their heart’s content!
   People add SPONGE to supplement their soups! They live in horrible
   conditions, and fall to the enslavement of drink, sex and drugs, easily
   obtained as officials turn a blind eye to all that’s illegal and pouring
   in from the Venezuelan Chavez government to that country’s shores! It’s
   party time in Cuba for the government and it always has been! “Thank
   You Father for the brave country of Cuba. What makes a state great are
   the praying believers and they are growing in numbers – praise the Lord!
   May the growing numbers of unregistered house churches who have little
   access to Bibles and which are distributed through official channels
   only, have God’s Word reach them by many other ways, may the officials
   be blind, deaf and dumb throughout it all as it happens. I pray that
   pastors and church leaders would receive biblical and discipleship
   training so that the church can grow in maturity. Please Lord keep the
   youth pure, that those who belong to You now will remain and not fall to
   the grips of temptation and sin. Please Lord free Cuba from the reign

7. Praying for those in Cuba that have
   been not received the truth of Christ Jesus. That their hearts would be
   softened to receive the gospel. Praying for strength of the christians
   there risking there lives and freedom for the spread of the gospel.
   May your word God reach them. Praying also for all who go there to
   spread the Good News!

   help the Brethren in Cuba for your name’s sake;
   out of the goodness of your love, deliver them. For they are poor and needy,
   and their hearts are wounded within them.
   They fade away like an evening shadow;

   Their knees give way from fasting;
   their bodies are thin and gaunt.
   Your people are an object of scorn to their accusers;
   when they see them, they shake their heads.
   Help the people of Cuba, Lord our God;
   save them (all of them) according to your unfailing love.
   Let them all know that it is your hand,
   that you, Lord, have done it.
   While they curse, may you bless;
   may those who attack your people be put to shame,
   but may your servants rejoice.
   May the accusers be clothed with disgrace
   and wrapped in shame as in a cloak. (and be convicted and come to repentance).

   I PRAY, ABBA FATHER, THAT YOU WILL CONTINUE TO POUR OUT YOUR SPIRIT
   UPON THE CUBAN YOUTH AND EXCITE THEM IN LIVING A LIFE OF LOVE AS YOUR
   SON, JESUS CALLS ALL OF US TO LIVE . FATHER SET THE CAPTIVES FREE ! ALL
   THE POLITICAL AND COMMUNISTIC LIFESTYLES THAT BRING NO FRUIT IN A
   PERSON’S LIFE . I PRAY FATHER THAT YOUNG PEOPLE WILL SEE VISIONS AND OLD
   PEOPLE WILL DREAM DREAMS SANCTIFIED BY THE LORD HOLY SPIRIT .

10. Lord, I thank You for the release of
    Pastor Lamelas, and I continue to pray for his family as they endure
    persecution and difficulty. I also thank You for the growth of the
    church in Cuba, and for those who have helped to facilitate that growth
    through their evangelism and training. I pray that this growth would
    continue – but not growth for the sake of growth, or growth with false
    doctrine. Let it be genuine growth of people who are committed to
    spreading Your truth.

    I also pray that those in unregistered churches would be able to gain
    access to Bibles. I know that You’re able to make a way where it seems
    impossible for those Bibles to get to those who hunger after Your Word!

    Finally, I pray for the pastors and those in leadership in those
    churches – that they would be able to receive training so that people
    can continue to grow in their faith and make more disciples. I pray
    again that any false doctrine would be kept out of the church and that
    You would raise up leaders, missionaries, teachers and those who can
    help to grow the Cuban church. I also thank You for the many short-term
    teams who have gone to Cuba to help encourage local missionaries and to
    spread Your Word.

    I ask also for protection and covering and provision for those who
    are being persecuted in Cuba because of their faith. I ask that Your
    grace would be strong for them and that You would be and provide
    everything that they need! In Jesus’ name, amen.

11. Lord, You reign supremely over all of
    creation, including Cuba, and we praise You for Your mighty power.
    Most of all, we praise You for the grace that You have poured out on us
    through Christ. I pray that the believers in Cuba would continue to
    realize this abundant grace and share the Gospel with those around them.
    We praise You for the growth of the church in Cuba; You are drawing
    people to Yourself! We pray that it will continue and that Your name
    will be made great among all of the people of Cuba. I pray that Bibles
    would be distributed to the remote house churches even in the face of
    persecution from the government. Give Your children wisdom and courage
    to get the Word of God, which is the mightiest weapon on the earth, to
    Your people. I also pray that You would send pastors and teachers to
    train the new believers and especially the pastors in Cuba. Provide
    these men with the discipleship and instruction in godliness that they
    need for fighting “against the cosmic powers over this present darkness”
    (Eph. 6:12). Help these men to mature in the faith and disciple others
    as they do so. Father, help Your children in Cuba to remember that You
    are always with them, and make Your name famous in their land!

    sisters in praying for the release of freedom in Cuba for the persecuted
    Church – when they suffer, we suffer – when they rejoice, we rejoice!
    Father, give them Your strength and endurance through all their trials.

    I bring our Cuban brothers and sisters in Christ before You today, I
    would ask that You wrap Your arms of love around them and keep them
    strong and safe. Thank You for the growth of Your church in Cuba. Help
    it to continue to grow. May more people learn about You and come to
    know You. I pray that Open Doors may find more ways to bring Bibles,
    Your Word, to Your Christians and help the pastors and church leaders to
    receive Biblical and discipleship training, to help Christians to grow
    in their maturity for you. Lord, we know that all things are in Your
    hands. While we may not understand everything, we can trust in Your
    purpose. Please help Your children in Cuba to know that brothers and
    sisters around the world are praying for them. Keep them in Your love
    and care.
